Nolito scored the third for City after Iheanacho’s brilliant run on the right shrugged of a defender then played a one-two Silva before rounding the goalkeeper and unselfishly finding the Spaniard who put the match beyond doubt.

The Manchester club was not finished yet as Stoke were caught on the counter by City where Iheanacho dummies a defender putting Sterling clear before Nolito had an easy tap-in. It ended 4-1. The win gives Guardiola his first Premier League away win of the season and after an unstable second half his team got the balance in the midfield and showed their worth as title contenders. It is two out of two for the from Bayern Munich coach as his side have scored six goals in two matches with Aguero scoring half of them.
