The United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, has arrived the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, and top government officials.
Mr. Kerry was received by Mr. Buhari’s State Chief of Protocol, Lawal Kazaure. The Secretary of State is expected to hold a meeting with five governors from the northern part of Nigeria after the meeting with the President.
The governors, who are already at the Villa ahead of the arrival of Mr. Kerry, include Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi, Mohammed Jibrilla of Adamawa, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara and Kashim Shettima of Borno state.
