The queues which can be sighted at a distance most of the times block the highways obstructing the free movement of vehicles.
The situation becomes worse, as many filling stations do not have petroleum product, as at the weekend.
Our correspondents who monitored the development also observed that most passengers were stranded as some of them could not get commercial vehicles to get to their destination on time, while some passengers lament the high cost of the fares.
Many motorists expressed dissatisfaction over the non-availability of the product, adding that the situation was frustrating and demoralising as they normally stay over the next day to get fuel.
It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari has recently approved the constitution of a 14-man Steering Committee on Petroleum Products Supply and Distribution management to find a lasting solution to disruptions in the supply and distribution of petroleum products.
