Banky W Loses Reps election to Labour Party candidate

Nigerian Musician Bankole ‘Banky W’ Wellington has lost his second attempt to represent Eti-Osa federal constituency of Lagos at the House of Representatives after losing in the Saturday, February 25, 2023, election to Labour Party candidate Thaddeus Attah.

The music star who ran on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party lost to Attah who polled 24,075 votes, while incumbent APC lawmaker Babajide Obanikoro polled 16,901 votes.
