Kano state witnesses Large turnout of voters for guber election

KANO residents have turned out in large numbers to elect their next governor.

Earlier, there was tension in some areas of Kano metropolis but the quick intervention of security operatives calmed the situation.

At most polling units in Gwale and Nassarawa LGAs, the crowd was massive.

At some polling units sighted in the Sabon Gari area of the city, voters were seen in queues waiting to cast their votes.

Many residents are in high spirits and expecting a free and fair election.
