He congratulated the proprietor, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano for the development and charged other wealthy Nigerians to emulate him by creating jobs for the youths through more investments in the economy.

He said MAKIA had recorded yet another epoch event with the official inauguration of the new Airline tagged, “Rano Air.”

Rano Air is owned by oil mogul, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, popularly known as AA Rano.

The airline is licensed by Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and mandated to provide the scheduled passenger services, cargo and charter flight operations.

The airline acquired five numbers of EMB 145 Aircrafts, with its operational base in Abuja, and is intended to operate in different locations in Nigeria.

The management said they were starting operations with eight stations: Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Kaduna, Yola and Asaba.

Dignitaries included the Emir of Rano, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa Autan Bawo 111, Sarkin Shanun Lafiyan Bare-bari, Alhaji Turaki Gamji, Kano State deputy governor, Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, among others.
