PDP holds Retreat for elected officials in Bauchi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently holding a crucial retreat for its elected officials, with prominent party members and political figures present.

The meeting, convened by the party’s Acting Chairman, Alhaji Umar Ililya Damagum, is taking place at the prestigious Old Banquet Hall in the Bauchi State Government House.

The retreat which began at about 11:00 am has Former Vice President and PDP Presidential Candidate in the last election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Elected PDP governors led by Deputy chairman of Nigeria Governor’s forum and governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, elected senators and House of Reps members, PDP BOT Chairman, Sen. Wabara, among host of other dignitaries in attendance.

There are also elected National Assembly members from other parties including Labour Party present in the retreat.

The retreat is expected to discuss the effective participation of the party in the coming 10th National Assembly, reconciliation moves in the party, other post-election issues, among others.
