The candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2023 general election, Frank Nweke Jnr has withdrawn his case against Governor Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He announced the withdrawal through his counsel, Professor Race Achara through an oral application.

Nweke through his lawyer said the withdrawal was to ease the workload of the tribunal.
The former minister filed the case on 11th April, 2023 and only appeared in court once.
After the announcement, the tribunal struck out the case.
