President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, met with former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and his counterpart in Kaduna, Nasir el-Rufai, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Both Wike and el-Rufai are ministerial nominees of President Tinubu.

UNITY TIMES reports that the nomination of the former Kaduna governor was, however, stepped down by the Nigerian Senate on Monday.
Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, said el-Rufai, along with two other Ministerial nominees, were awaiting security clearance.
The former governors arrived the State House separately. While Wike came at about 1:40 p.m., el-Rufai entered the presidential wing of Aso Rock at 2p.m.
