This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by press secretary to the deputy governor, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu.

According to the statement, governor Yusuf highlighted the need for around six million vaccine doses to combat the recent diphtheria outbreak.

He also expressed gratitude to the Foundation for its support in the health sector and expressed interest in the Foundation’s involvement in areas like agriculture and digital finance.

Leader of the Foundation’s Nigerian delegation, Mr. Jerremy Zungurana, lauded the enduring partnership and applauded the state’s efforts in healthcare development.
