“Following his failure to honour police invitation successfully sent to him since the commencement of investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy.

“Ibrahim is approximately 1.64-m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.

“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, the Police Command has obtained a remand warrant to further detain singer, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, and a music promoter, Balogun Eletu otherwise known as Sam Larry, beyond the 48 hours constitutional provision, over an ongoing investigation into the death of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.

Hundeyin confirmed the development on Wednesday in a  telephone interview with The Punch.

While denying reports that the duo were arraigned on Wednesday, Hundeyin said, “They were not arraigned for the case itself; they were taken to court for us to get a remand warrant to enable us to detain them beyond the constitutional 48 hours provision, so that we’re not accused of over-detention. To get the remand warrant, we needed to present the people in court.

“And we indeed got the warrant, but I can’t ascertain the number of days granted yet; I’d make it available to you once I obtain it.”

UNITY TIMES reports that Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, in Lagos, and was buried the next day before his corpse was exhumed about a week later. However, many had accused the duo of Naira Marley and Sam Larry of having a hand in his death, an allegation that they denied.

The deceased left Marlian Records, owned by Naira Marley on a controversial note last year, but his relationship with his former boss remained strained after that.
