In the Pact initiated by President Bola Tinubu, one of the 8-point resolutions had directed the Amaewhule-led lawmakers loyal to FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, to halt all impeachment moves against Governor Fubara.
The lawmakers had dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC), a development that forced the Fubara-led Rivers State Government to demolish the State House of Assembly complex on Moscow Road in Port Harcourt.
Moving a notice of withdrawal at the plenary session of the House on Wednesday, the lawmakers said the decision was made out of respect for President Tinubu.
The lawmakers had on October 30, commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara.
