The convicted billionaire kidnapping kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, facing an attempted murder case, has approached the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja for settlement.
Evans, along with his co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, who is facing murder and attempted kidnapping charges, has opted for the option of a plea bargain.

The state prosecution counsel, Mr. Yusuf Sule, informed the court on Thursday about the plea bargain option after the case was called for re-arraignment before Justice Adenike Coker.
Evans and his co-defendant are to be re-arraigned on an amended five-count bordering on murder, attempt to murder, conspiracy to commit felony, kidnapping, and attempt to murder.
Sule informed the court that the case was for re-arraignment but he was aware the defendant had applied for a plea bargain.
The prosecutor, however, said that the plea bargain terms were being considered by the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Mr Lawal Pedro (SAN).
