Masari wrote, “Today, I had the honour of visiting President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu GCFR at his private residence in the United Kingdom, where we engaged in productive discussions. We then departed for Paris, France, for another important engagement.”
However, the presidential aide did not disclose details of the Paris engagement.
Tinubu departed Nigeria on Wednesday, October 2, for a two-week working vacation in the UK as part of his annual leave.
His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced his departure in a statement titled ‘President Tinubu goes on annual leave.’
Onanuga said, “He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms. He will return to the country after the leave expires.”
France has become Tinubu’s 28th foreign destination since he assumed office about 17 months ago and his fourth trip there.
