Speaking to some members and supporters of the ADC in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Wednesday, the former governor said the current administration does not care about the challenges faced by Nigerians.

According to him, he has committed to making a change in the forthcoming 2027 general elections

He said, “If you’re not hungry I am hungry. If rich men are spending N4 million a month for fuel, only God knows how you are surviving.

“And the president says he doesn’t care, the president said he’s not here to make you happy,” Amaechi said.

The former minister also stated that the ADC, which is the new political party adopted by the coalition team is focused on making Nigerians happy.

He also condemned the notion that Rivers State is known for rewriting election results.

Amaechi added that the ADC is committed to ensuring that the machinery used by those in power to alter election results is resisted at the polling units and collation centres.

He said, “ADC is here to make you happy, Rivers State is notorious for writing results.

“When they write results, they claim they have won. I will not work with you if you would not march with those result merchants to announce results,” he warned the supporting crowd.
