This is as Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Communications, noted on his X handle that the President was visibly affected.

Dare, who captured the President’s mood as he interacted with his close aides, quoted him as saying: “As the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, I am depressed by the tragic death of our soldiers and officers on active duty.”

The President also prayed that “God Almighty will comfort the families of Brigadier General Musa Uba and other fallen heroes.

“I am also depressed that heartless terrorists have disrupted the education of innocent schoolgirls. I have directed the security agencies to act swiftly and bring the girls back to Kebbi State.”

The source said the President was deeply sad over the recent kidnap of the school girls.

“The President value lives and even more, when they are so young and innocent

“These are the future of the country and amongst them, you have future doctors, scientists and other professionals upon whose shoulders the nation’s prosperity lies.”

It will be recalled that President Tinubu has already ordered security operatives to recover the girls from their abductors.

He also directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to visit the state to commiserate with the people of Kebbi and the families of the school children.
