The Nigerian delegation was hosted by senior royals, including Queen Camilla and Prince William, with a full royal ceremony featuring a carriage procession, military parade, and gun salute.

At the palace, both countries exchanged cultural gifts, while Nigerian artefacts—including a Yoruba throne and works by Ben Okri—were showcased from the Royal Collection.

The visit is expected to boost economic cooperation, with officials highlighting new business links and growing Nigerian investments in the UK.

President Tinubu is also scheduled to attend a state banquet with King Charles, lay a wreath at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II, and participate in interfaith engagements.

Officials say the visit signals a shift toward a modern economic partnership between both nations, built on trade, diplomacy, and shared history.
