Sallah: Christian leaders join Muslims in Kaduna, preach unity

In a show of interfaith harmony, Christian leaders from Southern Kaduna joined thousands of Muslims at the Eid prayer ground in Kaduna to mark the end of Ramadan and promote peaceful coexistence.

The delegation, led by Yohanna Buru, attended prayers at Murtala Mohammed Square, where they congratulated Muslim faithful and called for stronger unity across religious lines.

Buru said the visit—now a growing tradition—aims to deepen understanding between Christians and Muslims, noting that such gestures are often reciprocated during Christmas celebrations.

Other clerics echoed the message of peace, urging Nigerians to prioritise tolerance and national cohesion amid current economic and security challenges.

Muslim leaders welcomed the delegation, describing the gesture as a powerful example of religious harmony and a model for the rest of the country.
