The alleged result, which gained traction on social media platform X, suggested that a Cross River candidate delivered an extraordinary performance across four subjects. However, JAMB swiftly dismissed the claim, warning Nigerians against the spread of misinformation.
In a statement, the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, said the document showed clear signs of fabrication, noting that official UTME results are strictly “view-only” and not designed for public sharing in printable formats.
He further highlighted inconsistencies in the registration number and formatting, stating that the structure seen in the viral slip does not align with JAMB’s system-generated records.
JAMB urged candidates, parents, and the general public to rely only on official verification channels, stressing that the integrity of its examination process remains intact.
