President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, for the highly anticipated Africa Forward Summit, a strategic gathering of African and global leaders focused on economic transformation, energy transition and sustainable development across the continent.

The summit, also referred to in diplomatic circles as the Africa-France Summit, is expected to address key issues shaping Africa’s future, including climate financing, industrialisation, infrastructure growth and renewable energy partnerships.
Tinubu is scheduled to participate in high-level discussions centred on green industrialisation and new financing models aimed at supporting African economies struggling with debt, inflation and development gaps.
Presidential aides say Nigeria will use the summit to strengthen bilateral partnerships and attract investments into sectors such as clean energy, technology, agriculture and manufacturing.
Analysts believe the meeting comes at a critical moment as African nations seek stronger bargaining power in global economic negotiations amid rising geopolitical tensions and shifting energy priorities worldwide.
The Nigerian delegation is also expected to hold side meetings with investors and foreign governments on issues relating to regional trade, security cooperation and economic reforms.
