Edo State Governor, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, has assured the people of Edo of his administration’s commitment to fighting crime in the state.
Grow your business with us

He made this statement when he received the new Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Betty Enekpen Isokpen Otimenyin, stressing that his administration is committed to tackling crime and ensuring peace in the state.
“We thank the CP for agreeing to work with us. She is a woman with the heart of a man. I have known her for several years, as far back as 1994 in Jos. That was the day I promised her that when I become governor, she would be my Commissioner of Police. I trust her and know she can perform,” Governor Okpebholo said.
“I have been following her postings, and today we are here, working together. We will fight crime in our state. Our business is to fight crime, and there is no better person to fight crime than CP Betty Enekpen Isokpen,” he added.
The CP, who commended the governor for providing vehicles to security agencies, said the police will go all out to fight crime in the state.
“The reason for my visit is to inform Your Excellency that I have resumed and am ready to work to ensure the state is crime-free. We appreciate your administration for presenting us with security vehicles that will aid our operations,” she said.
