The event, which took place at the luxury Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island in Lagos, titled ‘Celebrating Landmark Accomplishments’ had other Award recipients, including Nigeria’s first lady, Sen. Remi Tinubu (Woman of the Year Award), Governors of Oyo, Anambra, Imo, Cross River, Kogi, Nassarawa, Kwara, Ondo, Minister of Aviation, Minister of State Petroleum, CG of Nigeria Customs.
Mr. Peter Omoh Dunia, was honoured as Humanitarian Personality of the Year for his extraordinary commitment to humanitarian causes, particularly those affecting the underprivileged – orphans, widows, and people with disabilities – in areas such as education, sport, and healthcare.
Represented by his brother Paul Dunia, the Occeanwave boss sees the award as a motivation for him to do more.
