The Nigerian Medical Association accused the anti-graft agency of harassing healthcare workers and violating hospital protocols during the incident.

The protest has disrupted medical services in parts of the state, with doctors demanding accountability and protection for healthcare professionals.

The EFCC is yet to issue a detailed response, but the controversy has sparked national debate over the conduct of security agencies in sensitive public institutions.

Healthcare stakeholders warn that repeated confrontations between security operatives and medical personnel could further weaken Nigeria’s already strained health system.
