The workers trooped to the venue of the event to hear the final word from the candidate. Some of them arrived at the venue before 3 pm and formed long queues to register in groups before the candidate addressed them at about 5.30 pm.

The majority of them stood outside for hours as they could not enter the conference hall which was filled.

Addressing the crowd, Omo-Agege said he would run an all-inclusive government if given the mandate as nobody would be victimized no matter where they come from.

Assuring the workers of fairness and equity, the APC governorship flag bearer promised to enhance the capacity of the workforce adding that the three universities established by the outgoing governor would be well funded.

“I will pay you 13 month’s salary every December as against the N10,000 being paid by the present administration,” he said.

Omo-Agege urged them to stand for truth and vote for APC and called on Deltans to embrace the wonderful opportunity on March 18 to vote massively for him and his deputy, Hon Friday Osanebi.
