Katsina State Chief Judge (CJ), Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, has called on both the state and federal governments to embrace the digitisation of courtrooms for the speedy delivery of justice.
He said the innovation would enable Nigerians to access justice through a website or to be watching live court proceedings virtually from their homes.

The chief judge who spoke with journalists in his office, decried the rate of crimes which, he said, had grown geometrically and require several alternative methods to help in the speedy delivery of justice.
He advocated for alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to address minor crimes to ensure the timely administration of justice in the state and nation.
“We should ensure that people have access to justice and make the environment friendly for Nigerians to file their grievances. Courts must also give an alternative to sentence to community service.
“Lawyers may be ministers in the temple of justice, but they also cause delay in the administration of justice. But I think we are moving forward, and we hope that if Nigerians are willing, we will allow democracy to work,” he said.
