President Tinubu arrived at the Villa promptly at 10:53 am on Thursday and immediately proceeded into a closed-door session with the service chiefs.

This meeting marks the first official interaction between President Tinubu and the heads of the nation’s security apparatus since assuming office earlier this week.

While the specific agenda of the meeting remains undisclosed, it is expected that the session will involve comprehensive briefings from each security chief.

Recall that during his inauguration address on Monday, President Tinubu vowed to prioritise security as a paramount concern for his administration.

He emphasised that without a secure and peaceful environment, prosperity and justice would be elusive.

He further outlined his plans to revamp the security doctrine and architecture, emphasising the need for increased investment in security personnel.
