Kebbi State governor Nasir Idris has approved the immediate release of N92.2 million to boost water supply in the state.
He announced the approval yesterday at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

Idris said the funds are to buy water treatment chemicals and soft starter installation at Dukku high lift pump in Birnin Kebbi metropolis.
The governor said after the purchase of the chemicals and the installation of equipment, the residents of Birnin Kebbi metropolis and environs would enjoy regular water supply.
He said more dividends of democracy would be delivered by his administration to lift the people’s standard of living.
