Police operatives have arrested three suspects for allegedly gang raping a 15- year-old girl in Mayo-Belwa local government area of Adamawa State.
The suspects, Hassan Nasir, Uzairu Dan Fulani and Yahaya Edward of Sabon Pegi, Ngurore of Yola-South local government, allegedly lured their victim to uncomplicated building and had canal knowledge of her.

The victim had boarded a tricycle from Mayo Belwa to Ngurore which they diverted behind Cottage Hospital in Mayo -Belwa for the act.
The incident was reported to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Mayo Belwa by a relative of the victim, which led to their arrest.
In a statement issued by the police public relations officer, Suleiman Yahaya, he said the commissioner of police Afolabi Babatola, expressed worry over the unfortunate incident and directed the officer in charge of Family Support Unit of the command to take over the investigation and ensure diligent prosecution.
