A former vice president Atiku Abubakar has met with former governor of Kano State Rabiu Kwankwaso at latter’s Abuja residence on Tuesday.

Mr Abubakar was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Mr Kwankwaso was the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP candidate in the 2023 presidential election.
Although the detail of the meeting was not made public, sources said it might not be unconnected with the PDP’s efforts to reconcile with its former aggrieved members.
