The Arochukwu Local government Area in Abia State was agog with excitement and praise following the distribution of food items, clothes, and other materials by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ben Kalu, Peace In South East Project (PISE-P).
The distribution, which was coordinated by the former Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Hon. Chibuike Jones, who is also the APC leader and PISE-P Coordinator for Arochukwu LGA, had in attendance leaders from the eleven wards in the Arochukwu LGA, women, and youth leaders across the villages.
The leaders from the wards, who collected the gift items on behalf of their ward members, were all excited, praising and thanking the Deputy Speaker, whom they described as God-sent for Abia State and Southeast. They commend the PISE-P as a new wave of political re-engineering that will serve as a catalyst for changing the face of politics, economic revival, and social development in the entire southeast region, thereby restoring the lost glory and resilient nature that the region is known for.
