The Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Mobilization, Abuja, Comrade Kingsley Iwok, has affirmed that Pastor Umo Eno’s administration is determined and committed to improving the lives of people in Akwa Ibom State, including those in Abuja and the 19 northern states.
Comrade Kingsley Iwok made this known while receiving the Nsit Ibom Local Government Area Association in Abuja at his office on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Akwa Ibom State Liaison Office in Abuja.

He emphasized that Governor Umo Eno is particularly concerned about the welfare of Akwa Ibom indigenes residing in Abuja and the northern states. The Governor has ended the 17-year exclusion of the Akwa Ibom Community (AKCOM) in Abuja from state governance. His Excellency aims to implement the ARISE Agenda comprehensively. In just one year, Governor Eno has demonstrated exemplary leadership and governance, earning high praise for his inclusive administration, which has brought onboard individuals committed to advancing the state’s progress.
Comrade Iwok advised the people of Nsit Ibom not to be swayed by negative narratives against the government. He encouraged them to seek information about the ARISE Agenda, as there are clear evidences of Governor Umo Eno’s achievements, with visible impacts in every local government area of the state. He clarified that his role goes beyond mobilizing people for elections; it encompasses empowering people, providing resources, and fostering belief in the ARISE Agenda’s policies.
He quoted, “When the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable,” urging the people to support and defend Governor Eno’s ARISE Agenda.
Comrade Iwok expressed his gratitude to the Nsit Ibom Local Government Area Association in Abuja for their solidarity visit. He encouraged them to contribute ideas aligned with the ARISE Agenda, assuring them that his office is ready to collaborate to benefit Akwa Ibom indigenes residing in Abuja and the northern states.
In his remarks, the President of the Nsit Ibom Local Government Area Association in Abuja, Mr. Ebong Emmanuel, thanked God and the Governor for breaking the long-standing political exclusion of AKCOM Abuja and appointing Comrade Kingsley Iwok as the Special Assistant on Mobilization, Abuja. He pledged the association’s support and cooperation to ensure the success of Comrade Iwok’s tenure.
The Vice President, Princess Unyimeabasi Joy, also expressed gratitude to the Governor for appointing Comrade Kingsley Iwok and prayed for divine protection, promotion, and wisdom in his duties.
The association presented a formal congratulatory letter to Comrade Iwok. Additionally, copies of “Impact Magazine” and the “ARISE Scorecard,” produced by the Ministry of Information and Strategy, were presented to the association by the Special Assistant.
Present at the solidarity visit were Mr. Nyabuk Udo (Assistant Secretary), Mrs. Jane Etukudo (Woman Leader), Pastor Godwin Inyang (Welfare), Mr. Mbang Emmanuel (P.R.O.), and Mrs. Ikemesit Umoh.
