The Permanent Secretary (Special Duties), Federal Ministry of Finance, Mr. Ekanem Okon Udoh has extolled the leadership style of the Akwa Ibom state governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, especially for integrating Akwa Ibom people in Abuja into the governance structure of the state through Mobilisation.

Speaking during his Visit to the office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilisation in Abuja on Monday August 19, Mr Ekanem Udo appreciated the simplistic, humble disposition and people-oriented leadership of Gov Umo Eno, adding that the visit was also to foster collaboration with the office of the Special Assistant in various capacities in order to promote development .
The immediate past board member of NNPCL commended Umo Eno’s commitment towards poverty alleviation, improving the living standards of every Akwa-Ibom person, industrialization drive, youth empowerment, as well as peaceful existence Akwa Ibom state.
While sharing thoughts on his career journey in the public service, the astute administrator prescribed having the fear of God, dealing with the people according to knowledge irrespective of behavioral differences and forbearance as tools that have enabled him succeed.
Mr. Udoh also admonished the Governor’s aide to see his appointment as a priceless privilege which he should hold in trust and for the service of Akwa Ibom people living in the FCT and the northern states.
Kingsley (left) Udoh (Right)In his remarks, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilization, Comrade Kingsley Iwok appreciated the permanent Secretary for the visit and stressed on the importance of collaboration, which he said “aligns” with the shared vision of the ARISE Agenda. He expressed his eagerness to strengthen the tempo of mobilization for the common good of the people.
Iwok also complimented the leadership qualities of Mr. Udoh, acknowledging his humility, approachability, and godly fear, which are worthy of emulation. He restated his joy for the visit and appealed that Mr. Udo continue to use his privilledged position to ensure that other indigenes are well positioned.
