May 29, 2023, would be remembered in annals of Enugu history as a day another important prophecy was fulfilled: the birth of a new Enugu, the coming of a ‘messiah’ to the throne.

Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, an International Maritime Lawyer, Business Magnate, Public Administrator and Philanthropist, born to the family of Chief Gilbert Ekete Mbah from Ashishi Owo, Nkanu East LGA of Enugu State, took over the leadership of Enugu when leadership mattered most. It was a time when hope was almost lost and despair sets in.

Since his assumption of office, he has brought joy, laughter and hope to all Enugu indigenes and residents regardless of social status, age, gender, political or religious affiliations.

From security to education, health, economy, sports, entertainment, infrastructure, employment, SME, to capacity building, Gov Mbah had put an indelible mark.

The recent flagged off of the dualization of Opi Nsukka, Ugwogo Nike/ Abakpa road  is a testimony of Gov  Mbah’s unalloyed commitment to make Enugu state the true lion of the East, where even those living abroad can come back home, live and do their businesses with ease and happiness.

Nsukka city and Enugu city will no longer be called two cities in a state but one city in a state.

It must be noted that the climax of every good thing Governor Sullivan Chime did to the generality of Nsukka people, in his days, centered on his construction of Opi Nsukka, Ugwogo Nike/Abakpa road. That singular gesture of Governor Chime won the hearts of all Nsukka people.

As we have unalloyed belief that His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, the pragmatic Messianic Governor of Enugu State still have both time and enthusiasm to do more for the general people of Enugu state and Nsukka people in particular, we still appeal tohim to dualise the popular Nsukka/Obollo Afor Road in Nsukka. Once the Nsukka/Obollo Afor Road is dualised, Nsukka will automatically metamorphosized into one of the mega cities in Africa.

Bravo His Excellency, the biblical Messiah Governor of Enugu State.
