Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has slammed social media commentator, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, for attempting to involve him in a diss track against gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo.

VDM had announced plans to release a track titled “Body of Christ” in response to Chinwo’s N1.125 billion defamation lawsuit against him.

The lawsuit was filed after VDM accused her of misappropriating funds from her shows without remitting them to her former record label.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Portable expressed outrage at VDM’s request, warning him to stop mentioning his name.

He accused VDM of tarnishing the reputations of individuals, their businesses, and even their marriages.

The singer also questioned VDM’s financial ability to afford a collaboration, asking if he had N100 million to pay for his verse.

Portable said, “You are already overstepping your boundaries, VDM or whatever you are called, you are overstepping.

“Stop talking about me, do not mention my name. You defame people, you are among those people who defame celebrities online.

“You defame rich people. You defame people who carry grace and glory, defame people’s business and marriages. You just come from nowhere… You said that we should sing, do you have N100 million in your account to feature me?”
