Court Remands ‘Justice Crack’ Over Viral Army Video

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the detention of Chidiebere Justice Mark, popularly known as “Justice Crack,” over alleged cybercrime offences.

The defendant is accused of posting a viral video claiming poor feeding conditions in the Nigerian Army—content prosecutors say is false and capable of inciting unrest.

Presiding judge Joyce Abdulmalik adjourned the case to May 25, ordering that he remain in custody pending trial.

Authorities say the case raises concerns about misinformation and national security in the digital space.
