The operations targeted criminal hideouts in forests around Epe in Lagos State and remote communities in Kogi State where kidnappers and arms traffickers were believed to be operating.
Among those rescued were individuals abducted during recent attacks in Oyo State, including some victims connected to the widely publicised Oriire school kidnapping.
Security sources disclosed that several foreign nationals suspected of supporting criminal logistics were also taken into custody for further investigation.

Officials described the operations as part of an expanding intelligence-driven strategy integrating military surveillance, police tactical units and DSS intelligence capabilities.
